A Career Built on Craftsmanship

Chen Liang’s journey in the mold industry began in 1984 — long before plastic injection molding became the backbone of Chinese manufacturing. He learned his trade under a Hong Kong master who was among the first generation of plastic mold pioneers in China, having started in the industry as early as 1979 when precision tooling was a rare and specialist skill.

That apprenticeship instilled in Mr. Liang a standard of craftsmanship that has never wavered: measure twice, cut once, and never compromise on steel.

Founding JBRplas

In 1995, Mr. Liang established JBRplas with a clear vision — to build a mold factory that combined the rigorous technical standards of Hong Kong’s early toolmakers with the manufacturing scale of mainland China. From a small toolroom with a handful of machines, JBRplas has grown into a full-service precision mold factory serving clients across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Still on the Shop Floor

Decades after founding the company, Mr. Liang remains actively involved in day-to-day technical work. He provides ongoing technical guidance to the engineering team, personally reviews complex mold designs, and is frequently found on the shop floor working alongside the toolmakers he has trained.

His hands-on presence is not ceremonial — it is the reason JBRplas maintains a standard of toolmaking quality that younger, faster-growing factories cannot replicate. When a customer faces a difficult parting line, an unusual undercut, or a demanding surface finish requirement, it is Mr. Liang’s decades of intuition that finds the solution.

Technical Legacy

Mr. Liang’s direct training lineage connects JBRplas to the very origins of precision plastic mold manufacturing in China.
