Cosmetic Surface Quality

- Gloss levels from ultra-matte (VDI 45) to high-gloss (SPI B1)
- Colour consistency across multi-cavity tools (ΔE < 1.0 batch to batch)
- Pantone and RAL colour matching in-resin or via spray painting
- In-mould grain textures for branded surface aesthetics
- Parting line and gate witness marks located on non-visible surfaces
Wireless Signal Transparency
Smart home devices communicate via Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, or Bluetooth. Enclosure material selection affects wireless performance:
- ABS and PC — good RF transparency, preferred for devices with internal antennas
- Glass-filled grades — can attenuate RF; consult our engineers before specifying GF materials for RF-sensitive enclosures
- Metal inserts — antenna window design required if metal inserts are near antenna locations
