[Shenzhen, China] – JBRplas announced a major production floor upgrade, adding two TOYO all-electric injection molding machines and six new Haitian presses alongside a dedicated cleanroom production workshop. The expansion increases total molding capacity by over 30% and adds precision all-electric capability to the existing hydraulic and hybrid press fleet.

TOYO All-Electric Presses: CS-100 and CS-130

The two new TOYO Si-6 Series all-electric machines — a CS-100 (100 tons) and a CS-130 (130 tons) — bring high-precision, energy-efficient molding to the JBRplas production floor. TOYO all-electric presses deliver injection velocity control within ±0.1 mm/s, position repeatability within ±0.01 mm, and clamp force repeatability within ±0.5%.

All-electric machines are the standard for medical device components, precision electronics connectors, and optical parts where shot-to-shot consistency directly determines dimensional Cpk. Electric servo drives eliminate hydraulic oil temperature drift — a source of process variation that requires compensation in hydraulic machines — making all-electric presses inherently more stable over long production runs of 100,000+ shots.

The CS-100 and CS-130 are commissioned in the existing climate-controlled molding hall adjacent to the S136 stainless tooling cell, forming a dedicated precision molding zone for tight-tolerance medical and electronics programs.

Haitian 120–200T Capacity Expansion

Six additional Haitian Mars Series servo-hydraulic presses in the 120 to 200-ton range complement the new TOYO all-electric machines. These presses address growing demand for mid-volume consumer electronics, smart home, and automotive interior programs:

  • 120T (×2): Small-to-medium parts, 2–8 cavity tools, fast cycling
  • 160T (×2): Mid-size enclosures and housings, 2–4 cavity tools
  • 200T (×2): Larger structural components, multi-cavity high-volume tools

Haitian Mars Series servo-hydraulic machines use a servo-driven pump that reduces energy consumption by 40–60% compared to conventional fixed-displacement hydraulic pumps. The servo responds to instantaneous flow demand — during cooling, the pump idles at near-zero energy draw — rather than running continuously against a relief valve as conventional hydraulic systems do.

Cleanroom Production Workshop

The expansion includes a newly commissioned ISO 8 (Class 100,000) cleanroom molding cell — a dedicated enclosed production area with HEPA-filtered positive-pressure air, personnel and material airlocks, and full gowning protocol. The cleanroom is equipped with:

  • Dedicated material drying stations with desiccant dryers capable of <0.02% moisture (<50 ppm) for medical-grade PC, POM, and PA
  • Automated part removal and antistatic packaging inside the cleanroom envelope — no manual handling of molded parts outside the controlled environment
  • Continuous particle count monitoring with shift-logged records for regulatory documentation
  • Segregated tool storage for dedicated medical-device and food-contact molds

The cleanroom cell supports medical device programs requiring ISO 13485-compliant production environments, USP Class VI material handling, and full lot traceability — as well as optical and electronics components where particulate contamination is a functional failure mode.

What This Means for Clients

Faster program starts. The additional press capacity reduces the lead time risk for new program starts — dedicated press availability means tool qualification and process validation can proceed without waiting for a production slot on an existing machine.

Precision molding without a separate supplier. The TOYO all-electric presses bring in-house the capability that many OEMs previously had to source from a separate precision molder. Medical and electronics clients can now consolidate tight-tolerance molding and general-purpose production with a single supplier.

Cleanroom production as a standard option. Previously requiring advance scheduling and line clearance, cleanroom molding is now a dedicated, permanently available production cell. Medical, diagnostics, and food-contact programs can launch without negotiating cleanroom availability against competing production demand.
